e-CF application support and maintenance

To facilitate application of the e-CF from multiple perspectives and to ensure future relevance the CEN ICT Skills Workshop has initiated an update project.

The main aims are as follows:

1. Provision of further e-CF application support including e-CF online tool enhancement;

  • develop and publish of a set of case studies based on user experience
  • enhance the e-CF website and online service tools

2. e-CF maintenance and update towards e-CF version 3.0;

  • implement a structured feedback mechanism for stakeholders
  • collect and structure feedback from other CEN project activities related to the e-CF
  • update and maintain the framework based on gathered information

The operational project work commenced in May 2012 and will conclude on December 2013. It will lead to the following outcomes:

e-CF Version 3.0Update the e-CF in all four dimensions in close cooperation with the e-CF user community. The update will respect Version 2.0 and only lead to changes that bring real added value. All deliverables will be elaborated in close cooperation between the CEN nominated expert team, a voluntary expert supporting work group providing key know-how from European ICT business and HR development, the CEN ICT Skills Workshop community and further interested stakeholders.
